The Executive Director has full responsibility for management of Oaks Family Care Center. This includes the implementation of policies and procedures approved by the Board of Directors within the parameters of the approved budget. The primary areas of responsibility include administrative development and community relations/public relations. This position reports to the Board of Directors and must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably master’s degree in a related field, or related experience equivalent.

  • Minimum two years experience in marketing, fund-raising and public relations/development.

  • Minimum two years experience as a volunteer or employee in ministry.

  • Exhibit strong skills in interpersonal communication, public speaking, writing and effective media relations.

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and goals for the center.

  • Provide a spiritual leadership, discipleship, encouragement and direction for staff and volunteers.

  • A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of all human life.

  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith and Statement of Principle and policies of Oaks Family Care Center.

  • Carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
