Beth Knittle received her Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Human Services from Franciscan University of Steubenville and Masters in Social Work from Cleveland State University. She has experience working with teens, young adults, working in health care settings, with the elderly population and with those dealing who have mental health issues. She has an interest in the field of substance abuse and has completed training through the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program.
Beth holds the position at The Oaks Family Care Center as Director of Supervised Visitation. This allows the non-custodial parent to have visitation with their child in a family setting with a trained staff member in a friendly, comfortable setting at The Oaks. Beth’s role is also as family specialist/prevention/intervention for students at a local middle school. Beth is trained to answer crisis phone calls, give pregnancy tests, material goods, food pantry and fund-raising. Beth’s favorite role at The Oaks is to have 1:1 time with clients and enjoys helping people.
She lives in Brunswick with her husband and son who is in kindergarten.
